The WILDS is an excellent Christian camp located in the mountains of Brevard, North Carolina, near the intersection of North Carolina, Georgia and South Carolina.  They have excellent facilities and an amazing staff that are completely dedicated to the evangelization and revitalization of today's youth. The WILDS offers unique games, great food, enjoyable free-time activities, hilarious skits as well as enthusiastic speakers and God-honoring music.  They have an astounding history of faithful service and we are very pleased to be able to offer your children the opportunity to participate each year in an exciting week of camp at the Wilds.

The Junior Boot camp is that section of the Wilds reserved for those who will be 9 years of age by September 1, 2009 and also going into grades 4-7.  The JBC for 2009 is described as follows:

If you have never experienced the energy associated with an effective Christian camp, you cannot begin to imagine The Wilds! We have been sending teens to this camp for years and the results are astounding. Every week 800+ teens attend camp with many of them coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. In addition, hundreds of other decisions are made in a wide variety of areas, as teens turn complete control of their lives over to their Heavenly Father. Although intense and packed with Biblical teaching, a week at the Wilds is also an extremely exciting experience.

Teen camp is for those at least 12 years old by September 1, 2009, and either going into grades 7-12 or completing grade 12.

Space at the Wilds fills up very quickly. As such, we must get an early head count of those that are interested in attending the Wilds summer camp with us during the summer of 2009.  All transportation to and from the Wilds is provided by Holly Hills Baptist Church.

DEADLINE: A completed application (available from Pastor Blackwell) must be turned in by October 12, 2008 along with a $25 non-refundable deposit.  Registrations begin being received September 21.  After the deadline, registrations can be turned in and effort will be made to add the campers to our church registrations at that time.

COSTS: Junior Boot Camp: $277;     Teen Camp: $287

EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT:  Registrations received in time to fax to the Wilds before January 31, 2009 are entitled to $10 off the total registration cost.

If financial hardships will prevent your child from attending this camp, please contact us to see if other arrangements can be made. It is our desire to allow every child that seeks to attend this camp the opportunity to do so.
